candidum's unique bioinformatics toolbox reveals hotspots in the enzyme that are relevant to activity, stability, substrate or product spectra.

candidum screens these hotspots in silico to design minimal libraries for experimental characterization in the wet-lab. The resulting data is fed back into the bioinformatics toolbox for model refinement and improved prediction in subsequent refinement iterations.

We do this to craft highly enriched combinatorial libraries based on hotspot positions and viable amino acid variations that are tailored to available screening capacities.
